Default SPC front camber arms additional part: Cone bushing PN 40173-AL500

The SPC a-arms don't come with the metal conical lower ball joint seat bushing that most other aftermarket a-arms have, which requires you to remove the OEM bushing from your stock a-arms. At least the first few batches of kits didn't have them. Maybe the current kits do.

Anyway, if you need these bushings you can order them from your favorite dealer.I ordered them from http://infinitipartsusa.com search for part number 40173-AL500. They are about $8.49 each + shipping. I paid about $29.95 total

Here are pics of the part needed.

i just took my stock arms to autozone, borrowed their puller and removed the bushings right there at the counter. takes literally 2 mins max each.

Thanks for the info! Do you know what kind of puller you borrowed? You're one of the lucky few that the bushing hasn't broke apart then. Apparently for some it fell apart when removing it. It's a good investment to at least have an extra set handy.

I don't remember what exactly the puller was called or what it's intended use was for, but they have a list of all the pullers they have with pictures and this one was a small three pronged puller maybe used to remove small pulleys and such. go to this website. it was either the first or third one on this list.

Do the new SPC a-arms come with this now?

I don't believe so as the cone bushing is an OEM nissan part. I would contact SPC to verify.

I will. Oscar at SALS was saying you dont need it. I ordered it and brought it with me but he says he has never used it... not sure why!

Yeah....Not sure why either...b/c if you remove that one bushing...I would think the edges would tear up that red boot...Smart idea to use it...If SPC says use it why would someone else suggest not to...wierd....

I reused my stock ones. After talking to Oscar at Sal's, that's the route I ended up going with. Eric, he didn't have your car done by the time I got there. To minimize any damage on the bushings, just use a pickle fork to remove them from the old A-arms. Mine came out unscathed.
